Common questions
What is a data broker?
A company that collects personal information from public records, websites, apps, purchases and other companies, then sells or licenses it. Some run people-search websites; others sell contact lists to marketers and sales teams.
Can you guarantee every broker will delete my details?
No, and nobody honestly can. We send clear requests and follow them up, but each broker decides how it responds, and some don't reply. Your dashboard shows exactly where each one is up to.
How long does it take?
Requests go out when you run your first scan from the dashboard. Brokers usually take days to weeks to respond, and some take longer. We update your dashboard as replies come in.
Do you share my date of birth?
No. Requests include only what a broker needs to find your record, such as your name, email addresses, phone numbers and addresses. We never send your date of birth.
